Before booking
- Define group size and tentative dates; they determine capacity and availability.
- Clarify whether you need exclusive use of the venue. At Amaca Beach it is private by default.
- Confirm what is included and what is booked separately: meals, transfers, and additional services.
Program design
The venue is yours during the stay, so you set the program. Define practice times, meals, and free time. The Quimixto environment opens options: sunrise sessions on the beach, a hike to the waterfall, closing practice facing the sea.
Group arrival
Coordinate boarding from Puerto Vallarta in one or two windows. Tell participants that the last stretch is by boat and that this detail is part of the experience, not an obstacle. The local team receives and guides the group.
During the retreat
- Lean on the on-site operation for meals, housekeeping, and daily needs.
- Leave margin in the schedule for weather and group energy.
- Use the isolation: with no outside distractions, the group holds itself.
Closing and departure
- Schedule the return boat with padding around outbound flights.
- A closing without rush protects the memory as much as a good arrival.
How to start
Write us with your group size, tentative dates, and the kind of retreat you imagine. From there we build a tailored proposal. The venue is in Quimixto, Bahía de Banderas, and arrival is coordinated from Puerto Vallarta.
Why Amaca Beach Retreat
The division of roles that lets the facilitator lead without carrying the logistics:
- You lead, we operate. You focus on the program and the group; the on-site team handles the logistics.
- Fully private venue. Exclusive use by default, with no surprises or third parties sharing the space.
- Handled arrival and departure. We coordinate both boat transfers with padding around flights.
- Tailored proposal. We adjust inclusions to group size and your goals, not a rigid package.
